​What is included in a custom Invitation Template?

A custom invitation template includes a custom painting and then is put into a Canva template for you to add your event information. The link to your custom template will allow you to change the verbiage, spacing, and fonts in your custom invitation. All custom images will be fixed to the background of your template. No items are mailed to you when you order a custom template, you will receive the template via email.

What is included in a custom Map Template?

A custom map template includes 5 custom mini paintings put into a Canva template for you to add your event information. The background of all custom maps will be a light green & blue unless the customer specifies differently. The link to your custom template will allow you to change the verbiage, spacing, and fonts in your custom invitation. All the "points of interest" and roads will be grouped together once the final template is sent. No items are mailed to you when you order a custom template, you will receive the template via email.

How do I print out my custom invitations or map?

Canva is a pretty neat website that let's you design your own digital items and then you can get them printed through Canva or you can export it as a jpg and get it printed through a website of your choosing, a local print shop, or you can purchase heavier weight paper and print them at home yourself. What size will the custom invitation template be?

All custom invitation templates will be created for 5x7 size printing and oriented vertically unless the customer specifies differently.

 

What size will the custom map template be?

All custom map templates will be created for 5x7 size printing and oriented horizontally unless the customer specifies differently.

Do I need Premium Canva account?

The Canva templates that I create are designed for the free version.

You do not need a premium Canva account unless you are looking to unlock their premium clipart, fonts, etc.

How long will my custom template be available?

I will save your custom template in my Canva account for one week. Please make sure you go in and create your own copy of your template within a week and before I remove the template from my account. Once you have made a copy of the template to your account then you will have access to the template for as long as you keep it.

What kind of photos can I send you to create my custom canva template?

I can only use photos that you have the copyright for, this would include your own photos or photos found on a copyright free website such as Unsplash. It is not permitted for you to send me a photo that you do not have the rights to as I do not want to infringe on other artists rights.

How do I order a Custom Template?

Currently I take orders exclusively through Instagram. Please send me a message on my account @laurenchaseco. Any reference pictures needed for the project should also be sent via instagram, please use the photo button on the right vs the left so that it will not disappear from the chat.

Will my finished watercolor be an exact representation of original photos that I send you?

Your finished watercolor will not be a realistic reproduction of any photos that you send me to work off of. For invitations and wedding items I choose to do stylized creations that are painted in my style which tends to be looser and lighter.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Venmo is my preferred form of payment.

When is payment due?

Payment is due upon order of the custom piece, prior to the creation of the piece.

What is your return policy?

Custom Art is non-refundable due to the time and effort that I put into creating each piece. I do guarantee that it will be the same quality of my prior paintings posted on this site and Instagram!

What is the turnaround time for a custom template?

The fastest turnaround time possible for a custom template order is approximately two weeks. If there are a large quantity of orders that I am already working on then the turnaround time is longer. If there is a date that your need your custom order by you must let me know prior to ordering your watercolor.

What are the copyright rules for your products?

Custom art is for personal use only. The restrictions include but are not limited to the following actions. In no circumstance is the buyer permitted sell prints of their custom artwork for any reason. In no circumstance is the buyer permitted to edit the artwork and then sell it. In no circumstance is the buyer permitted to make a copy of their custom artwork and send it to someone else. In no circumstance is the buyer permitted to make multiple prints for the purpose of giving them away (with the exception of wedding invitations). In no circumstance is the buyer permitted to use the picture on a website or in any sort of marketing or promotional setting (website, etc) without written consent.
